The Orientation Program is designed:
- to welcome students to St. John’s College High School
- to provide information on the school’s history and mission
- to provide students with information about policies, regulations, student services, opportunities for school and community involvement.
- to get students involved with the aspects of school life
Orientation Activities include:
- ID photo taking procedures
- Navigating Campus facilities and services
- Introduction to Clubs, Student Council Elections, Sports and other extra curricular activities
- Orienting students into Academic Policies and Procedures
- Orienting students to Jesuit mission, identity and history
- Introducing students to policies and regulations of the Student Affairs Office
- Orienting students into Financial Procedures of the college
- Financial Aid Requirements
- Assisting students with Career Planning and Goal Setting
- Introduction of the school song
- Snack during break time
High School Orientation Schedule:
Orientation for new students is usually held on the Friday before classes resume. For this academic year the date is on Friday August 20th, 2010.
