St. John’s College Junior College was founded in 1952 as a post-secondary institution offering programs that are generally the equivalent of the first two years of a four-year baccalaureate programme. The Junior College consists of the overall body of students and faculty who are administratively and academically organised into two schools – liberal arts and professional studies –each guided by the same set of academic policies and procedures, registration policies and procedures, and course numbering system. While the Junior College is overseen by the College’s Provost and Chief Academic Officer, each school within the Junior College is overseen by a dean.
