On May 23, 2023, the Bachelor's degree information session was held at the college, where students had the opportunity to hear from four guest presenters who are professionals in their respective fields as well as Alumni of SJC. The event was kicked off by the college president, Mrs. Peralta, who welcomed the presenters and the attendees.

The four guest presenters were Ms. Krystal Humes, Clinical Psychologist & Owner of Assess Belize, Ms. Ashanti Guzman, Assistant Director, Scenes of Crime Unit, Mr. Chris McGann, Managing Director, PPF Capital Belize Ltd., and Mr. Risi Avila, Staff Security Strategist, Spunk. Each presenter shared how SJC helped them to prepare for their careers as well as their unique perspective on their profession, providing students with valuable insights and advice.

After the presentations, there was a question and answer segment where students were able to ask the presenters about their experiences and seek advice on how to navigate their respective fields. Attendees found the segment to be informative and engaging.

Following the Q&A session, interested persons heard from four financial institutions: Belize Bank, Heritage Bank, The Development Finance Corporation, and the National Bank of Belize, who gave presentations on their services and products.

Overall, the Bachelor's degree information session was a valuable opportunity for students to gain insights from professionals in various fields and learn about the financial resources available to them. The college hopes to continue hosting informative events like this to better support and prepare their students forthe workforce.
