High School

Founded under the auspices of the Society of Jesus in 1887, St. John's College High School division is a Catholic, four-year boys' school. The High School exists to educate academically talented young men in a Jesuit environment of self-discipline, love of learning, and service to others. The school offers a rigorous curriculum, complemented by a variety of competitive interscholastic sports and a host of extracurricular activities to meet the varied talents and interests of the students the school serves. The junior and senior classes all follow the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) curricula and sit the regionally administered examinations at the end of their senior year. Graduates traditionally attend one of the college’s post-secondary divisions or other local or international tertiary institutions.
