Extension

St. John’s College Extension was founded in 1947 as the college’s first adult and continuing education division. The Extension offers working adults the opportunity to earn their high school equivalence certificate. Students study core subjects over three years as preparation for sitting the General Educational Development (GED) exams. The Extension also offers public courses such as Introduction to Computer Science and Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) preparation courses to individuals who plan to sit the relevant regional papers.
