On August 12th, history was made as graduates of the St. John’s College Associate Degree Nursing Program sat for the Practical Nurse (PN) Licensure Examination for the very first time.
This milestone marks a new chapter not only for SJC but also for Belize’s healthcare system. For the first time, SJC nursing graduates joined candidates from the University of Belize and other regional programs in taking this important exam, officially stepping into the journey of professional nursing practice.
The Nurses and Midwives Council proudly welcomed SJC into Belize’s nurse training family, recognizing this as a significant achievement in advancing healthcare education and workforce development.

St. John’s College extends its warmest congratulations and encouragement to all nursing graduates who undertook the PN Licensure Exam. We are proud of our future nurses and wish them every success as they continue their calling to serve with skill, care, and compassion.
