SJC-U Finance Students Attend Central Bank Symposium
On Wednesday, September 23, our SJC-U Finance students had the valuable opportunity to attend a symposium hosted by the Central Bank of Belize in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Belize Dollar Peg.
The symposium offered a deeply informative look at the history and stability of the Belize dollar and the vital role our local currency plays in supporting Belize’s economic strength. Through these high-level discussions, our students gained meaningful real-world perspectives on monetary policy and financial governance, reinforcing how the principles explored in the classroom directly influence the economic future of our country.
